ADH Bespoke Service
ADH Fine Hardware collaborates with leading interior designers and architects to design original hardware. Using computer-aided design (CAD) and engineering (CAE) software, we prepare technical and production drawings to manufacture bespoke hardware for you. Prototypes are created using 3-D printing in hardened epoxy resins.
After you receive a plastic sample, with the confirmation of the order, ADH will prepare the bespoke design for production. Custom designs are owned and copyrighted by the creator under Canadian, American, United Kingdom and European Union intellectual property laws (design patents). ADH provides monthly royalties to hardware designers for original designs that have permission to be included in the ADH catalogue. Bespoke designs typically require 3 weeks from initial concept received by ADH to final drawings for approval.
A computer-aided design and computer-aided engineering computer program, SolidWorks by Dassault Systèmes, is utilized to prepare bespoke designs. ADH welcomes your original sketches with general dimensions to begin the process of creating unique and special hardware designs. Please email your custom designs to Alex in the ADH Bepoke Department.
Alex graduated from Durham College, in Whitby, Canada, in CNC Mechanical Technology – Tool and Die. With qualified practical skills in mechanical technology, Alex communicates technical requirements for the machining of ADH custom-milled cabinet fittings to our manufacturers using SolidWorks software.
